this is where i got my name.... from a u.p. diliman ikot jeepney creatively turned into a mecha....
this represents me....this is who i am...this is how i roll.... - ikotron so this is the history of all of this shitz... idea formed on june 23 2007 at our comfort room.... served to be as the mascot of our organization - U.P. LUNAROCK ( university of the philippines league of university artists of cartoons and komiks ) IKOTRON is a name derived from a jeepney... jeepney is the number one transportation service in the philippines...around our campus.. there are jeepneys or "jeeps" that take rounds inside the campus to serve the students in going to a place to another... that jeep are called "ikot jeeps"... ikot, in tagalog means to go around in circles...to incorporate myself in being a filipino... i decided to use the jeep as my own character...i like mechas and at that time...the movie transformers was about to be shown in theaters so i decided to make the philippine jeepney a transforming mecha...just as the transformers... it clearly depicts our organization's motto - "creativity illustrated" and now...the upgraded version.... ^___^..... (with flat colors) |
